- Home must have adequate bedroom space to accommodate all family members including foster children.
- Home must have functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
- Poisons, cleaners, toxic, other hazardous items, medication, firearms and other dangerous items bust be locked up and inaccessible to a foster child.
- Home and yard must be clean, free of any health and safety hazards and in good repair.
- Swimming pools, hot tubs, ponds or any other bodies of water must be secured according to RFA Written Directives.
