Intensive Service Foster Parents

Intensive Service Foster Care (ISFC)

  • ISFC – These children require additional help and support to overcome the consequences of past trauma and loss.

  • ISFC children need trauma informed parent(s) who can provide consistency, safety, empathy, and understanding. If you have experience working with children, and recognize that you have the ability to parent a child with special behavioral or medical needs, El Shaddai is looking for you.

  • If you do not have experience, resource parents can obtain required experience by accepting a traditional foster care placement into your home while you are working towards your ISFC certification.

  • ISFC parent(s) are provided trauma informed trainings and continued education to assist in the preparation of care for these children and continued learning to enhance your abilities over time.

  • All ISFC parents and children will be provided with an agency case-worker and a trained staff person to provide in-home therapeutic care hours vary depending individual needs of the child.

  • Children will be connected with behavioral health specialists to assist in the healing process, counseling services and in some cases, medication management.

Reimbursements are per child each month

  • Traditional Foster Care – Range $1000-$1170

  • Intensive Service Foster Care – Range $2300-$2600
